Every Wednesday @ 2:00 we will be holding fun, animal themed programs for kids of all ages! For a list of programs please see the description below.
All ages kids programs. These programs will be held outdoors, and could be cancelled due to weather. These same programs will also be held on Tuesdays at the Portage branch. Register for individual programs in person or over the phone by calling Portage or South Haven branches. Some Covid restrictions may apply.
June 9 - Animal BINGO : Play a few rounds of animal themed BINGO to win free books and other prizes.
June 16 - Pet Parade & Show : Bring your leashed or caged pet to the library for a pet show and other fun pet themed activities.
June 23 - Meet the Animals : Hear from kids just like you, what it's like to care for and raise all sorts of farm animals. Get a chance to see and touch them up close.
June 30 - Dino-Mite : Join us for dinosaur crafts, games and more.
July 7 - Dragons VS Unicorns : Express your love for all the creatures you wish were real with lots of crafts and activities.
July 14 - Not So Creepy, Not So Crawly : Meet an etymologist, and learn to like bugs through crafts, games and activities.
July 21 - Backyard Animals : What can you find in your own backyard, and what can you do to take care of the wild animals around you?
July 28 - Animals Under the Sea : All things ocean animals at this undersea event.

South Haven Public Library sits on a beautiful wooded lot across from Field of Dreams Park. Built in 1995, this open concept library houses a large collection of books, DVDs, music CDs, and periodicals for all ages. It offers 2 private study rooms, 1 conference room, 1 large meeting room, wi-fi, and a computer lab for public use.
