Learn to use a sewing machine, and stich a simple project.
Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Did you know the library has sewing machines available for checkout? In Sewing 101, you will learn the basics of using a sewing machine, and complete a simple sewing project. This program is geared towards adults and older teens. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own sewing machine if they would like, and staff can walk you you through using it. Registration is required to make a project, but those just wanting to observe are welcome to drop in. Space is limited to 2 people per library sewing machine.

South Haven Public Library sits on a beautiful wooded lot across from Field of Dreams Park. Built in 1995, this open concept library houses a large collection of books, DVDs, music CDs, and periodicals for all ages. It offers 2 private study rooms, 1 conference room, 1 large meeting room, wi-fi, and a computer lab for public use.
