Come meet and hang out with your fellow otaku! For seasoned anime fans and newbies alike. We'll watch a different anime each month, do fun stuff, and eat snacks!
This month's Anime: Haikyu!!
Summary: Ever since having witnessed the "Little Giant" and his astonishing skills on the volleyball court, Shouyou Hinata has been bewitched by the dynamic nature of the sport. Even though his attempt to make his debut as a volleyball regular during a middle school tournament went up in flames, he longs to prove that his less-than-impressive height ceases to be a hindrance in the face of his sheer will and perseverance.
This month we will being doing a Name that anime tune contest.
Winners will get small prizes for each correct answer and whoever gets the most correct will get the grand prize.
We'll also be doing a Design our Anime Club mascot contest.
Sheets to enter will be at this month's Anime Club. Winner will be awarded a prize at July's anime club (participants can bring their sheet home to work on it and turn it in at June's Anime Club.). The winner will have their design re-drawn by our staff and used on some of our future anime club materials. Winner will be chosen by design, not drawing ability, so no fear if you want to do a design but don't have drawing skills.
Valparaiso Public Library is the largest branch of the Porter County Public Library System and sits just one block off of downtown Valparaiso. It was first developed in 1905, renovated in 1916, and demolished in 1994 in favor of the building in its place today. Acting as a pillar of communities both local and county-wide, the library offers an extensive collection of materials to its patrons, a wide variety of programming, large study rooms that can accommodate 100 people, and the Larry Clark Genealogy Center, which has been a staple in Porter County for almost 60 years.
